2 adults. Children 13-17, pay 50% of sharing rate. All children over the allowed 2 per room will pay 50% of the sharing rate.

There will be quality time during the weekend with your family. There are also other facilities to cater for them:

Enjoy the Spa at The Nest; Swimming; Horse Riding; Tennis; Bowls; Mountain Biking (bring your bike or hire nearby); Drakensberg Canopy Tours; and much more.

The Veranda and Deck:

Spaciousness, relaxation, beautiful gardens and mountain views embrace you while you dine with friends, take a cup of mid-afternoon tea, or later, a sun-downer on the new pub deck.

The Pub:

A favorite evening social spot, with an English ambiance. The pub is open most of the day for refreshments.

We don’t wish rain away in Africa but on a cloudless night at The Nest the sky provides a spectacular view of the Milky Way; just right for a braai (barbecue) whilst thoroughly enjoying each others company.

Travel for regional and international visitors flying into Johannesburg and residents of Gauteng:

All travelers arriving in South Africa or arriving from locations within South Africa, at OR Tambo airport Johannesburg and those in the Gauteng area, will have access to a bus leaving Sandton Gautrain Station at 10am on both the 4th (for trainees) and 9th December for African Encounter participants which will then collect and depart from the airport at 11am, arriving at The Nest by about 4pm. (The first Vivencia will begin at 5pm).

Return transport to OR Tambo will leave The Nest at 13:30 Monday 12 December arriving at 18:30 and then on to Sandton Gautrain station.

If you would like more freedom, a wide variety of car hire options are available at OR Tambo or King Shaka airport in Durban – but we cannot offer bus services from King Shaka airport.

Please communicate with us regarding airport transfers in advance and closer to the time to ensure a relaxed and pleasant journey. If we can assist in any other way please do contact us

We may be able to assist you to find the web sites you need to plan your travels, extending your visit to include the days and weeks before or after the Encounter.
