When booking accommodation with Zinkwazi Lagoon Beach and Forest Resort, let them know that you are part of the Biodanza Group.
If you have specific meal requirements , such as vegetarian, vegan or banting – please inform reservations when booking.
We encourage you to book a shared room to allow the maximum number of participants to experience this years Biodanza African Encounter.

Only 50% deposit for the shared accommodation price will be required with your booking. The balance of 50% can be paid 7 days before your arrival.
Special Rates for Children under 12 sharing:
Sharing Hotel room @ R600 (R1800 for the AE weekend).
Sharing in Plets @ R190 per night (R570 for the AE weekend).

All pricing is per person sharing.
Participants are allocated to rooms as the individual deposit is paid. If you know with whom you wish to share but they haven’t paid, notify the Hotel when you book.
In the event that there is a high demand for participation at the Biodanza African Encounter, additional accommodation is available in or near Zinkwazi. reservations will assist you.
Choose your preferred room and bed configuration, then contact Lou-Anne at reservations.
Option 1. 100 Camp sites – large and small
This is a great option if you wish to keep costs down. Camping for the Biodanza African Encounter weekend is R1530 per person including dinner.
You will need to bring all your camping, and catering equipment for breakfast and lunch, unless you opt for breakfast and/ or lunch provided by the venue – please let the venue operators know your meal requirements before or at least when you arrive.
Option 2. Plets – 5 rooms sleeping 4 each, with shared outside ablutions.
The Plets consist of two partially separated rooms each with a double or queen size bed. There is a toilet and basin in the small bathroom, and the nearby outside camping ablutions are available for showering.
There are no catering facilities but if you bring your own equipment, and a little imagination with cooler boxes and ice from the nearby cafe, breakfast and lunch-time braais are possible in the outside seating area provided with each unit.
This accommodation for the Encounter weekend is R1935 per person sharing, including dinner. Breakfast and lunch are optional and can be arranged in advance or on arrival.
Option 3. Self Catering Chalet sleeps 6 . Each chalet has 3 rooms – each room sleeps 2. One room has a King size or Queen bed ; and the two other rooms both have Twin beds.
This is the prime option at the venue, located overlooking the lagoon and shaded by magnificent forest trees. There are 7 Chalets – for 42 sharing participants.
We suggest you talk with each other to make up groups of 6 people to share a chalet and book together.
This accommodation for the Encounter weekend is R2730 per person sharing, including dinner.
The chalet is fully fitted for self-catering – ideal for both breakfast and lunch, though you can also opt to use the venue breakfast and lunch facilities, if you wish – let the venue operators know of your meal requirements.
Option 4. Hotel Rooms sleep 2 – King or twin beds. Only 21 rooms available.
There are two blocks of hotel rooms, with each room accessed from outside.
Accommodation price for the Encounter weekend is R4110 per person sharing, including breakfast, lunch and dinner.
